Osmo Decking Cleaner is a concentrated soap for routine cleaning of untreated or oiled wood decks. It also works on wood fences, privacy screens and outdoor furniture. Use it to remove normal dirt and stains; weathered gray wood needs Wood Reviver Power Gel instead.
At a glance
- Dilution: From 1 part cleaner to 25 parts water for light cleaning, up to 1:1 for heavy soil
- Coverage: Approximately 320–1,076 sq ft per liter of concentrate, depending on dilution and soil
- Apply with: Stiff broom, Osmo Decking Scrub Brush or compatible cleaning machine
- Cleanup: Soap and water immediately after use
- Use: Untreated or oiled exterior wood
How to use it
Sweep away leaves, grit and loose debris. Mix the cleaner with water according to the amount of soil and test a small area. Scrub with the grain using a stiff deck brush, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Let the wood dry before deciding whether it needs a maintenance coat of Decking Oil.
Good to know
Keep the solution away from plants and garden ornaments. This cleaner removes dirt but does not reverse sun-gray wood fibers. Protect the concentrate from freezing during storage and transportation.
