Osmo Intensive Cleaner 8019 is a concentrated deep cleaner for oiled and waxed wood. It removes stubborn dirt and residue before recoating, often without the need to sand an otherwise sound finish. It also works on many water-resistant materials, but it isn't meant for everyday floor cleaning.

- Dilution: 1 part cleaner to 20 parts water for deep cleaning before recoating
- Stronger cleaning: Up to 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water when stripping back a Polyx-Oil surface
- Coverage: Approximately 320–1,050 sq ft per liter of concentrate, depending on soil and dilution
- Dwell time: Do not allow the solution to dry; remove within 5–10 minutes
- Drying before recoating: At least 3–4 hours, and until completely dry
- Best for: Oiled or waxed floors, furniture, doors and interior woodwork
How to use it
Sweep or vacuum away loose grit. Mix the cleaner with water for the job at hand and test a small area first. Apply the solution, loosen the dirt with the appropriate pad or brush, then remove the dirty solution with clear water and a microfiber mop or lint-free cloth. Don't let it sit on the surface until dry.
For machine cleaning, Osmo recommends a single-disc machine with the pad selected for the level of cleaning. Once the wood is fully dry, recoat it with the appropriate Osmo finish or maintenance product.
Good to know
This is a lightly alkaline deep cleaner, not a daily soap. Leaving it too long or failing to remove the residue can discolor or damage the surface. Always test first, especially on an unfamiliar finish.
