Osmo Tannin Spot Remover targets black marks caused when water or metal reacts with tannins in woods such as oak. The ready-to-use spray can be used on bare or oiled interior wood and often removes the discoloration without sanding.

How to use it
Remove loose dirt and protect nearby metal. Spray enough product to cover the stain and let it react for about 30–45 minutes. Do not let the spot dry during this time; mist it with water if needed. Wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth and then buff dry. Repeat once if the stain remains.
Let the wood dry overnight, then restore protection to the treated area with the matching Osmo finish or Maintenance Oil.
Good to know
This product is meant for tannin-related black marks, not every dark stain. Test first and prevent contact with metal hardware or nearby plants.
