Osmo Country Color gives exterior wood an opaque satin color while still allowing the surface to breathe. It is a good fit for siding, sheds, windows, doors, balconies and timber framing when stronger color coverage is wanted than a transparent oil provides.

How to apply
Work on clean, dry and absorbent wood. Stir the finish well, then apply one thin, even coat with a brush or roller in the direction of the grain. Allow 10–12 hours to dry with good ventilation and apply the second coat just as thinly. For maintenance over a sound Country Color finish, one coat is often enough after proper cleaning and preparation.
Maintenance
Recoat before exposed areas wear through. Remove dirt, loose material and failed coatings first, but a sound Osmo oil finish generally does not need complete sanding.
Good to know
Opaque does not mean that surface preparation can be skipped. Color and sheen can still vary with texture, porosity and application thickness. Test first, especially when changing from a dark color to a lighter one.
