Osmo Maintenance Oil refreshes floors and furniture previously finished with Osmo Polyx-Oil or UV-Polyx. It restores a tired or dull surface without a full sanding and is especially useful in entryways, stairs, stores, restaurants and other high-traffic spaces.

Application methods
Vacuum the surface and remove dirt before oiling. If damp-cleaned, let the wood dry completely. Shake the product well and test a small area for color and compatibility.
Roller or cloth: Apply a very thin coat with the grain, work it evenly into the surface and remove all visible excess.
Single-disc machine: On larger areas, spread a thin coat and buff it into the floor with the appropriate Osmo pad until the finish is even and no excess remains. Follow the product-specific restriction for 3098 Anti-Slip; Osmo's technical sheet says not to rub that version in with a single-disc machine.
Allow good ventilation and keep traffic off the surface until it is dry.
Cleaning and maintenance
Use Wash and Care for routine dirt. Liquid Wax Cleaner can help with light scratches and scuffs. Deeper damage may need light sanding before a local application of Maintenance Oil. Reapply a thin coat when the floor looks dull, dry or uneven rather than waiting for the finish to wear through.
