Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain Effect is a decorative exterior oil for vertical wood. Its metallic tones highlight texture while helping protect siding, screens, fences and other outdoor wood from moisture and weathering. It is for exterior use only and is not intended for deck walking surfaces.

How to apply
Stir thoroughly so the effect pigments are evenly dispersed. Apply a thin, even coat to clean, dry wood with the grain using a natural-bristle brush or microfiber roller. Spread it well and keep a wet edge. Let it dry with good ventilation, then apply a second thin coat. On maintenance work, one coat over a clean, sound finish may be sufficient.
For additional weathering protection, Osmo recommends a final coat of UV-Protection Oil Extra 420 after the color coats have dried completely.
Good to know
This product contains active ingredients and is restricted to exterior use. Lighter transparent tones provide less UV protection in strong sun. Metallic effects and color vary noticeably with wood species, grain direction, lighting and application, so a project-sized sample is important.
