This 5 mL Osmo sample lets you test the selected color on the actual wood used for your project. Wood species, grain, sanding, preparation and application thickness can change the result, so a real sample is more useful than judging color from a screen alone.
Prepare a small piece or inconspicuous area exactly as the finished project will be prepared. Stir or knead the packet thoroughly so pigments are evenly distributed. Apply a thin coat using the method recommended for the full-size product and allow it to dry completely before judging the color. Add a second sample coat only when the product system allows it and that matches the intended project schedule.
The packet is for color evaluation, not for establishing long-term durability or guaranteed coverage. A small sample may also look different from a large floor or wall because light, surrounding colors and natural wood variation affect the overall appearance.
